Live Painting Demo for @HolbeinUsa at San Diego Comic Con
Artist Denise Vasquez shared some of her techniques for painting on a blank vinyl toy using Holbein’s Liquid Acrylic Color, and Artist Randy Martinez demonstrated some of his techniques using Holbein’s Acryla Gouache. They both use Holbein’s paint brushes & LOVE them!

“Art From A Galaxy Far Far Away” will feature Official Star Wars illustrations & paintings by Artist Randy Martinez, along with custom GLOW IN THE DARK 3D art by artist Denise Vasquez.
Star Wars Artist Randy Martinez brings his unique interpretation of the Star Wars Universe to the Hold Up Art Gallery in Downtown Los Angeles. Over two dozen pieces of Randy’s original and official Star Wars art will be shown and made available publicly for the very first time!

For this show, Artist Denise Vasquez is bringing to life her latest concept “Star Wars meets Dia De Los Muertos” utilizing custom vinyl figures & a Vader mask.

San Diego Comic Con Activities~Live Painting
San Diego Comic Con is just around the corner & although this year I’ll only be attending for 2 days, I’m happy that I’m able to be a part of it in some way! My man Randy Martinez & I have been invited to do some live painting at “HOLBEIN” paints booth #5104. We’ll be there on Saturday morning painting from 10 AM-12 noon. Later that evening from 6-9pm we’ll be at the “Chuck Jones” Gallery in the Gaslamp District where they will be featuring a number of original works of art by Randy Martinez, our book “Sketch Card Mania”, and my newest “Captain America” vinyl doll!
